Here we introduce synthetic diamond powders in mesh sizes ranging from #60 to #500, which are primarily used in grinding wheels. Based on the type of binder used, these products are broadly categorized into metal-bonded and resin-bonded types. For abrasive grains coarser than #60—used in cutting and processing concrete, stone, and other materials—please refer to our “Other Products” section.
synthetic diamond for Resin bond
Resin-based synthetic diamonds
Synthetic diamonds developed for resin-bonded applications are characterized by their irregular shapes, which increase surface area to prevent them from falling out of the resin binder.
They also exhibit excellent friability, making them abrasive grains that are expected to generate new cutting edges on their own. Additionally, they generally have a blackish-gray color.
We can recommend the optimal abrasive grain from our extensive lineup of resin-bonded diamonds.
Resin-Based Synthetic Diamond Product Line
FRD-G1
This is the synthetic diamond abrasive with the highest friability available for resin applications, making it ideal for uses where processing efficiency and surface finish are priorities.
FRD-S
This product is a synthetic diamond with high abrasiveness, designed for applications where cutting performance is a priority.
FRD-R
This is a standard synthetic diamond with high abrasiveness; it is a gray-colored abrasive grain that offers an excellent balance of price and cutting performance.
FRD-F
This resin-based synthetic diamond offers excellent fracture properties and is a cost-effective product.
FRD-G5
This abrasive grain features a distinctive shape with numerous grain boundaries, offering excellent crush resistance while also providing greater heat resistance than conventional products.
FRD-X
This resin-based synthetic diamond product offers an excellent balance of friability and wear resistance, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
FRD-G7
This synthetic diamond product offers greater heat resistance than the FRD-G5 and was developed specifically for use with hybrid bonding materials.
FRD-G9
This is a distinctive abrasive grain that is the toughest among resin-bonded synthetic diamonds, yet features numerous interfaces.
FRD-A
This product is made from crushed quasi-metallic synthetic diamonds and consists of yellow-green abrasive grains with extremely sharp edges and high heat resistance.

synthetic diamond for Metal bond
Metal-based synthetic diamonds
Metal-bonded synthetic diamonds are made from abrasives with higher toughness than those used in resin-bonded products. They typically range in color from yellow to yellow-green and are characterized by a blockier shape compared to resin-bonded abrasives. The fewer internal impurities and the more solid and blocky the crystals, the greater the heat resistance and strength.
We offer a wide selection of products classified by shape and magnetic properties, and we will recommend the optimal abrasive for your needs.
