Polycrystalline diamond powder synthesized using the explosive shock method features a structure in which microscopic diamond crystals are secondarily bonded together, a result of the unique synthesis conditions involving the instantaneous application of high pressure and high temperature. Consequently, the powder possesses cutting edges in countless directions and, due to the absence of cleavage resulting from the secondary bonding, exhibits the characteristic of spontaneous edge generation, whereby new cutting edges are constantly formed. For this reason, it is primarily used as an abrasive material for semiconductor electronic components.

Polycrystalline Diamond “DAL” Lineup
DAL size(4-6)
These are polycrystalline synthetic diamond micron abrasives that exhibit minimal variation in particle size distribution from batch to batch and have high water dispersibility.
DAL size(4-6)
Because it is synthesized using an explosive method, the particles are formed through secondary bonding, resulting in excellent cutting performance and making it particularly suitable for grinding applications.
